PROJECT FOR THE ORGANISATION OF A PLANT FOR THE PRODUCTION OF CUBE-SHAPED CRUSHED STONE ON THE SITE 4HA
Crushed stone is a product of rock crushing. This product is produced by mining in the quarry rock, which is then processed into crushed stone using crushing and screening processes.
The consumer of non-metallic building materials is the construction industry, where crushed stone is used as an aggregate for concrete and reinforced concrete structures, construction and reconstruction of roads and railways. In recent years, cube-shaped crushed stone is in high demand.
The use of cube-shaped crushed stone significantly improves the quality of the top layer of the road surface.
At the moment the initiator of the project - an enterprise in the form of limited liability company develops Volnoyarsk granite deposit in Mykolayiv region.

- Special permit for subsoil use (licence);

- Established surveying documentation;
- Approved project of mineral deposit development, including sections on safety and environmental protection, including reclamation of disturbed lands;
- Permit for high-hazard operations;
- Permit for operation of high-hazard machinery and mechanisms;
- Contracts for land plots;
- Permit for emissions of hazardous substances into the atmosphere;
- Accident elimination plan;
- All labour protection documentation.
Now the company mines in the quarry:
At the present moment it is possible to produce 30 000 tonnes of finished products, namely:
Crushed stone of cube-shaped fraction
Crushed stone fraction 5-20mm --- 35% - 10,500 tonnes
Crushed stone fraction 20-40mm ---25%--- 7,500 tonnes
Screenings of 0-5mm fraction --- 40%--- 1,200 tonnes
Mixtures of fractions 0-40mm --- 40,000 tonnes
Mixtures of 0-150mm fractions --- 50,000 tonnes
PRODUCTION INCREASE
The company has a plot of 4 hectares near Trikraty station, 12 km away from the granite deposit.
To increase production volumes it is necessary to build a modern plant of cube-shaped crushed stone with the possibility of loading into wagons on its own ramp.
Primary processing is carried out in the quarry, crushed stone fractions 20-150mm four dump trucks transported to PDSU (complex consisting of cone crushers, screen and conveyor), located at a distance of 12 km. from the field, where the material will be dodrabrablyavshayutsya on the necessary fractions and simultaneously conveyors loaded into cars.
PLANNED VOLUMES OF CRUSHED STONE PRODUCTION AND REVENUE FROM ITS SALE.
Revenue from production activities
The production capacity of the projected plant should extract and process from 600 thousand tonnes of rock per year.
The following product yields are projected in this project:
- Crushing screenings (0-5 mm) - 30%;
- Crushed stone fraction (5-20 mm) - 45 %;
- Crushed stone fraction (20-40 mm) - 25 %.
Annual plan of crushed stone production:
- Fine screening - 150,000 tonnes;
- Crushed stone M 1200 (5-20 mm) - 225,000 tonnes;
- Crushed stone M 1200 (20-40 mm) - 125 000 tonnes;
Revenue for the year will be (volumes of fractions multiplied by the average price):
- Sifting of small fractions - 150 000 tonnes *200 UAH/t = 30 000 000 UAH;
- Crushed stone (5-20 mm) - 225 000tn * 280 UAH/t = 63 000 000 000 UAH;
- Crushed stone (20-40 mm) - 125 000* 260 UAH/t = 32 500 000 UAH;
Thus, the annual revenue without VAT will be UAH 125,500,000.

Current production costs.
According to preliminary estimates, the production and sale of 600,000 tonnes of crushed stone annually will require costs of approximately UAH 71,857,280.
At the initial cost, the cost of production will be
approximately UAH 147.5 per tonne (including overheads).
With the production of 600,000 tonnes of crushed stone per year, the plant's net profit after tax will be UAH 37,000,000 or $900,000 per year.
The estimated payback period for the investment is 5 years.
