The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted draft law No. 7636, which provides for the restoration of the system of registration of land lease rights.
This was announced by the head of the "Servant of the People" party, People's Deputy Olena Shulyak.
"Since the beginning of hostilities in Ukraine, a number of land registration processes have been suspended. This was a forced measure to prevent abuse, manipulation or raiding of land.
The draft law restores the registration of land lease rights in the State Geocadastre and the State Register of Property Rights to immovable property, resumes auctions for the transfer of plots of state and communal ownership to use," Shulyak explained.
According to her, "this is an important step in the conditions of the war and post-war reconstruction, because it creates additional conditions for investments and the launch of businesses that want and can relocate, develop and boost the Ukrainian economy."
The norms of the adopted draft law also provide for the right to place biomethane production facilities, which are components of complexes for the production, processing and storage of agricultural products, on agricultural land plots, and exempt industrial (industrial) parks from compensation for losses of agricultural and forestry production.
In addition, this document restores the free transfer of land plots to private ownership to owners of real estate objects (buildings, structures) located on land plots, and land plots transferred for use before the entry into force of the Land Code of Ukraine.
