The Cabinet of Ministers decided to create a new industrial park on the territory of the Nerubaysky Council of the Odessa region. The project, called NEXUS Odesa, will operate for 30 years, developing modern production. The project developers plan to attract significant investment and create hundreds of jobs, which will have a positive impact on the economy of the region.
This was reported by the Ukrainian Information Service with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Economy, Ecology and Agriculture.
The park area will exceed 21 hectares. The EKOSTANDART SERVICE company, which initiated the project, plans to attract almost 748 million hryvnia from various sources of financing. Part of these funds will be invested in the coming years, since active construction and development of the territory will begin. Once the park is put into operation, about 1,000 new jobs will be created.
NEXUS Odesa will house enterprises producing food, beverages, building materials, metal structures, machinery and alternative energy. This will expand the industrial potential of the region and introduce new production technologies.
The government notes that the implementation of such projects increases the economic stability of communities and the attractiveness of the country for investors. The inclusion of the park in the State Register of Industrial Parks also provides additional support and stimulation for the development of new industries.
There are currently 109 properties on the Industrial Park Register and the number continues to grow as demand from businesses and municipalities continues to grow.
