Deputy Head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Economic Development Dmitry Kisilevsky said at the Kiev International Economic Forum that 25 factories have been built or are under construction in industrial parks of Ukraine. Of these, 12 have already been completed, and another 13 plants will be commissioned over the next year.
These enterprises cover various industries: food production, agricultural processing, building materials, woodworking, mechanical engineering, household chemicals, printing and others. The “Produced in Ukraine” program is aimed at the stable development of industry, with the goal of increasing the share of the processing industry in the country’s GDP from 8% to 20%, which can transfer Ukraine into the category of economically developed countries.
