The cost of agricultural land in Ukraine is growing. The cost of one hectare of land in the leading Ivano-Frankivsk region reaches 292,700 UAH.
According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine, for the entire period of the land market functioning (since July 01, 2021), 142,945 land transactions were concluded over an area of 322,194 hectares. From February 24 to today, 41,979 transactions have been concluded, and they cover an area of 77,668 hectares.
The most active regions (in terms of land area in respect of which transactions were registered) were Khmelnitsky (8.1 thousand hectares), Vinnitsa (8 thousand hectares), Poltava (8 thousand hectares), Kirovogradskaya (7.8 thousand hectares) and Dnipropetrovsk region (7.6 thousand hectares).
Over the past two weeks, 5,389 transactions were made on the land market on an area of more than 11,000 hectares. Largest sold area:
Kharkiv region (39.5 thousand hectares),
Dnipropetrovsk region (29 thousand hectares),
Poltava region (26.3 thousand hectares);
Kirovograd region (26.1 thousand hectares);
Kherson region (21 thousand hectares).
The average price of 1 hectare of land in Ukraine amounted to UAH 52,462, which is 38% higher than in November, and 47% higher than in the same period last year. In the leading Ivano-Frankivsk region, the cost of a hectare of land has reached UAH 292.7 thousand.
